What happened: Aaron Glenn ruled out Breece Hall, AD Mitchell, Mason Taylor, Dylan Parham and Kiko Mauigoa for the Jets' Week 4 game Sunday in Chicago. Hall is week-to-week after a quad injury against the Lions in Week 3, and Mitchell is out after injuring a finger in practice before last week's game in Detroit.

Why it matters: New York heads into Chicago without Hall, left guard Dylan Parham, tight end Mason Taylor and linebacker Kiko Mauigoa. Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq took on bigger roles after Mitchell sat out in Detroit, and the Jets may need that again this week.

By the numbers: Four Jets who had been listed questionable earlier in the week were downgraded to out Friday: Hall, Taylor, Parham and Mauigoa. The final ruled-out group for Week 4 reached five players once Mitchell was added.

What to watch: The next Jets practice report will show whether Hall's week-to-week status leaves a path back for Week 5. Sunday's game will also show how New York redistributes snaps and touches with five absences.
