Dallas sits at 2-3 after Week 5 loss

Wire Report IntelligenceUpdated 51m1 min read

What happened: Joey Porter Jr. has played two games for Dallas since the early-October addition. He has not allowed a reception in coverage in that span.

Why it matters: Dallas is 2-3 after allowing 419 yards in Week 5. A scoreless coverage start stabilizes the secondary. His form also shapes Dallas's 2027 tag decision.

By the numbers: 0 receptions allowed in 2 games with Dallas. Dallas is 2-3 after Week 5.

What to watch: Dallas will see if Porter extends the streak over a larger sample. His ankle limited him in Cowboys practice.
