What happened: The back of the first-day jersey read Porter, without the Jr. The workout came on a quick turnaround after Pittsburgh dealt him for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.

Why it matters: Dallas ruled Porter out for Thursday's game in Cleveland, leaving Sunday against Houston as the first possible debut. The temporary number reflects how fast Dallas folded him into the secondary.

What to watch: Watch whether Dallas confirms a permanent number before Sunday. Next indicator is full participation leading into the Texans game.
