What happened: Porter is still awaiting his first appearance after Thursday's trade from Pittsburgh to Dallas. He was ruled out for Dallas' game in Cleveland, pushing his debut to a later date.

Why it matters: Dallas made the move for immediate corner help after sending Pittsburgh a 2028 second-round pick and a 2027 sixth for Porter. Any delay keeps that reinforcement off the field during a two-games-in-five-days stretch.

What to watch: Dallas' next availability report will show whether Porter can make his first appearance on the next turnaround. That timing matters for a secondary trying to integrate a new starter quickly.
