“This team cannot stop anyone.” 😳 @johnbreech on the Cowboys’ defensive struggles after major overhaul. #Boxscore htt Via @NFLonCBS on X

What happened: John Breech criticized the Dallas Cowboys' defensive struggles following a major overhaul, stating the unit 'cannot stop anyone.' The comments were featured by NFL on CBS following the team's 24-16 final loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Why it matters: The defensive regression complicates the outlook for a Dallas Cowboys team that entered with high expectations. Dallas has failed to establish consistency on that side of the ball despite the offseason changes.

By the numbers: The Cowboys are 4-4 on the year and are allowing 22.9 points per game this season.

What to watch: Dallas will attempt to stabilize its defensive front and return to the win column in its next matchup.
