What happened: Jordin Canada converted a contested basket against tight defensive coverage during Saturday's 2026 WNBA Finals matchup between ATL and GSV on NBC and Peacock. The score adds to Canada's earlier driving layup in the Finals.

Why it matters: Canada entered the championship series after earning 2026 WNBA All-Defensive Second Team honors on Oct. 15 and finishing among the league's top three in steals. Half-court shot creation against set postseason defense remains a central factor in the Season 30 title series.
