What happened: James Palmer said another workload limit remains an open question for Thursday's game. Jacobs returned from the commissioner's exempt list after missing the first six games of 2026.

Why it matters: Jacobs remains eligible to play while the league conducts its separate investigation. Another limit Thursday would affect how much he can contribute on a short week.

By the numbers: On Oct. 25, Jacobs had 11 carries for 36 yards and five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown.

What to watch: Thursday's workload will show whether Jacobs remains on a pitch count. The NFL's review is still pending.
