What happened: NFL analyst Judy Battista endorsed Bill Belichick's Hall of Fame candidacy during an appearance on NFL Network. Battista stated that she fully expects the former New England Patriots head coach to earn election to Canton.

Why it matters: Belichick concluded a historic tenure in New England that included six Super Bowl championships and sustained dominance across more than two decades. Formal induction would serve as the ultimate capstone to his coaching career.

What to watch: The Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee will finalize its modern-era ballot and announce future inductees ahead of the Super Bowl.
