What happened: Kani Walker was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game as part of a pair of secondary call-ups. Walker entered the week as a rookie defensive back option after opening the season on the practice squad.

Why it matters: Practice-squad elevations can reshape game-day depth and special teams usage in the secondary. For Walker, the move creates an early regular-season chance to earn snaps and strengthen his standing on the back end of the roster.

What to watch: Final inactive decisions will show whether Walker is part of the active game-day plan. If he dresses, his special teams usage will be the first sign of how large the role is.
