What happened: Collin Klein confirmed the lower leg injury Monday at his weekly press conference. Anciaux was hurt in the Big 12-opening loss to Cincinnati.

Why it matters: Oakley leads the tight end room with 13 catches for 147 yards. Cure, the program's first five-star recruit, has 3 catches for 23 yards as coaches look to expand his role. More tight end production would give quarterback Avery Johnson additional options.

By the numbers: Anciaux: 6 catches, 84 yards. Oakley: 13 catches, 147 yards. Cure: 3 catches, 23 yards.

What to watch: Kansas State comes off its bye against No. 22 Cougars. Receiver Jaron Tibbs progressed during the bye and could be available.
