What happened: Denver announced Tuesday that Jackson officially chose to retire as a member of the club. He played in Denver from 2019 through 2023.

Why it matters: The designation formally ties the defensive back's career close to the franchise where he spent five seasons. Ceremonial retirements preserve continuity between former starters and the current roster.

What to watch: Denver continues its 2026 regular-season schedule. No further roster transaction was announced.
