What happened: Kelsey Mitchell secured an official 2026 All-WNBA First Team selection on Saturday. The league-wide honor adds to a postseason run that also saw the veteran guard earn AP All-WNBA First Team recognition in September.

Why it matters: The accolade caps a 2026 campaign in which Mitchell earned her fourth career WNBA All-Star selection in July. Landing on the official first-team roster solidifies her standing among the league's premier perimeter scorers entering the offseason.

What to watch: Mitchell now heads into the WNBA offseason as league award announcements conclude ahead of the upcoming 2027 season.
