What happened: Vic Tafur highlighted Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III entering Week 6 of the 2026 NFL regular season. Walker previously set the Chiefs' franchise rushing record through the first four weeks of the campaign.

Why it matters: Walker's offseason arrival drew praise from league executives for giving Kansas City a proven ground threat alongside its passing attack. Sustained rushing production eases pressure on a roster currently looking to address a league-worst 2.5% defensive sack rate ahead of the trade deadline.

What to watch: Kansas City continues its Week 6 regular-season slate with Walker anchoring the backfield workload.
