What happened: Kevon Looney converted from the field against the Golden State Warriors, bringing the Los Angeles Lakers' new center pairing to a perfect 12-for-12 mark with 15 minutes left to play, per Law Murray. That interior efficiency has helped Los Angeles build a 98-66 lead over Golden State with the game still in progress.

Why it matters: Integrating Kevon Looney into a revamped frontcourt rotation was a focal point of Los Angeles's offseason overhaul. Immediate finishing efficiency from the center spot reduces pressure on the Lakers' perimeter ball-handlers and punishes Golden State's interior defense.

What to watch: Los Angeles will look to maintain its interior control through the remaining 15 minutes of regulation against Golden State.
