What happened: Mina Kimes said Cleveland would be an extremely desirable situation for a young quarterback next year. She framed that view around the Browns' foundation for the future.

Why it matters: That puts Cleveland in the broader quarterback conversation well before the offseason arrives. It also comes a day after the Browns beat the Steelers 27-24, keeping attention on the roster around the position.

What to watch: The next marker is whether Cleveland's season keeps strengthening the case that its supporting cast is ready for a younger quarterback once the offseason arrives.
