What happened: Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany told reporters his squad is feeding off supporter belief ahead of the Champions League semifinal at the Allianz Arena. "The fans believe we can do it. We want to make it a memorable moment," Kompany said in remarks shared by Fabrizio Romano. The comments echo Kompany's earlier message that he feels no pressure and has had "no difficulty to find sleep" before the tie.

Why it matters: Kompany is leaning into fan energy as the same Vincent Kompany who vowed total commitment ahead of this UCL semifinal tries to push Bayern past a high-stakes European tie. A deep Champions League run reshapes the club's season narrative and would validate Kompany's first-year project in Munich. The manager's public appeal — also asking ticket holders who feel unwell to stay home — signals how much weight Bayern is putting on a full, healthy Allianz crowd.

What to watch: Watch for Bayern's confirmed lineup and any late fitness updates before kickoff. Kompany's tone in the pre-match presser will set expectations for whether Bayern presses early or manages the tie cautiously.
