What happened: Seattle opened its 2026-27 preseason slate with a victory, punctuated by the club's brief "TKHB" celebration afterward. The win came at the front end of a back-to-back, with another game still scheduled for Saturday.

Why it matters: Preseason results do not affect the standings, but they shape the early read on form and lineup rhythm entering Opening Night. The game also lands in a busy opening-week stretch for Seattle, which has paired the start of the season with home-opener events and other club programming.

What to watch: Seattle is scheduled to close the back-to-back on Saturday. The next game-day update will show how much of the opening group carries into that second outing.
