What happened: The score broke a 7-7 tie in the second quarter. Kyle Allen moved to 10-of-12 passing for 128 yards.

Why it matters: A 37-yard completion earlier in the game gave Allen another chunk gain through the air. The efficient outing strengthens his case for snaps as final roster decisions approach.

By the numbers: Allen completed 10 of 12 passes for 128 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

What to watch: His remaining preseason work will help determine his place on the quarterback depth chart.
