What happened: A plane towed a "Daddy's Back! Geaux Tigers" banner over College GameDay in Oxford ahead of Saturday night's Ole Miss-LSU game. The message backed Lane Kiffin as fans on campus filled the pregame scene with signs tied to his return.

Why it matters: The banner added another flashpoint to Lane Kiffin's Oxford return as both unbeaten teams chase College Football Playoff position. It also showed how much of the buildup has centered on Kiffin's move from Ole Miss to LSU, not just the matchup itself.

What to watch: Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET in Oxford. The crowd response once Kiffin takes the field will be the next measure of how personal the atmosphere gets.
