What happened: Lawrence Butler hit a walk-off home run Sunday after already homering earlier in the game. The blast gave him a two-homer day and ended the game on one swing.

Why it matters: A walk-off homer changes the result immediately, and a two-homer game in mid-September carries extra weight in the regular-season race. Butler had appeared in Wire coverage a day earlier, keeping him in the news cycle across consecutive games.

What to watch: Watch for the official box score and postgame updates on Butler’s final line and the club’s standings position.
