What happened: Topps will place a commemorative 24th-season emblem on LeBron James' uniform throughout the 2026-27 schedule, per Yahoo Sports. Staff will remove the patch from his jersey following each game.

Why it matters: Entering his 24th year, James is playing through chronic arthritis and sciatica as the 2026-27 regular season begins. Detaching each emblem postgame creates a game-by-game memorabilia series across his record-extending campaign.

What to watch: James will debut the 24th-season patch in his 2026-27 regular-season opener.
