What happened: Josh Ross inked a practice squad deal on Thursday, adding midseason depth at the linebacker position.

Why it matters: Practice squad linebackers provide immediate insurance for special teams units and defensive packages without occupying an active 53-man roster spot.

What to watch: Ross is now eligible for up to three standard game-day elevations during the remainder of the 2026 regular season.
