What happened: The game reached STATUS_FINAL with Detroit ahead of New York. Jake Bates finished with 7 points, while Jason Sanders had 4.

Why it matters: One-score finals tighten room for error across the roster. Kicking separation carried added weight with the margin that thin.

By the numbers: Final: Detroit Lions 31, New York Jets 24. Game-high scorer: Jake Bates (7 PTS). Jason Sanders: 4 PTS.

What to watch: Both sides move toward their next regular-season dates with the result in the books.
