What happened: New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis opened his Paris press conference with a statement ahead of the team's game in France. He said he understood Gayle Benson putting the front office on notice and said feeling uncomfortable at times can be useful.

Why it matters: The response connects ownership scrutiny directly to football operations during a 1-4 start. New Orleans has already surfaced pass rusher Chase Young as a potential move ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline. Extension talks with Chris Olave also remain unresolved after stalling in camp.

What to watch: New Orleans continues its week in Paris ahead of the France game. Focus shifts to whether Loomis makes roster moves before the deadline.
