What happened: San Jose Sharks forward Macklin Celebrini remains a game-time decision as he works through an injury, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic. Celebrini said it 'killed me not to' be on the ice while sidelined.

Why it matters: Celebrini's availability is central to the Sharks' top-line rotation after San Jose named him team captain ahead of the campaign. Getting their primary playmaker back in the lineup would steady the forward group as the regular season progresses.

What to watch: San Jose will make a final call on Celebrini's lineup status following pregame warmups.
