What happened: SportsCenter named San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini the 2026 Elevated Cupcake Experience champion. San Jose draws the late Frozen Frenzy slot tonight at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Why it matters: The national slot puts the same Celebrini named Sharks captain in September in front of a league-wide audience early in his tenure. San Jose enters after a 3-1 loss to Edmonton on Oct. 11.

What to watch: San Jose closes the night with a chance to reset its early-season form on the ice.
