What happened: Madubuike opened camp on active PUP four days earlier. Independent spine and cervical doctors had cleared him to return.

Why it matters: The activation gives the defensive front a full camp window to reintegrate a Pro Bowl interior defender before the 2026 season. His return resolves a major offseason roster question following neck surgery.

What to watch: His workload and participation in team drills will be the next markers during camp.
