What happened: Orlando leaned on storm wordplay, framing the goodwill note around thunder ahead of Tampa Bay's season.

Why it matters: The exchange is a routine cross-league nod between Florida clubs entering opening weeks. It carries no standings, injury or roster implications.

What to watch: Both clubs continue preparations for their 2026-27 campaigns, with Tampa Bay's broadcast details already released.
