What happened: Mike Malott told Ariel Helwani he wants UFC 336 in Toronto next and welcomed talk of Michael Morales as the opponent. He described himself as the Canadian in the big fight on Canadian cards and said he wants to keep that momentum at home. The push follows his second-round stoppage of Joaquin Buckley at UFC Edmonton.

Why it matters: A second straight Canadian headliner would consolidate Malott as the local draw for Toronto cards. A Morales pairing gives him a fresh welterweight test coming off a main-event finish.

What to watch: UFC has yet to confirm the Toronto lineup or an opponent for Malott.
