What happened: Mark Jankowski has recorded a goal in each of his last six games, per Sportsnet.

Why it matters: Consistent finishing from depth forwards provides early scoring insulation during the 2026-27 NHL regular season and typically earns expanded even-strength ice time.

What to watch: Jankowski carries the active streak into the next scheduled 8:00 p.m. puck drop.
