What happened: The agreement follows Marshall's July 6 eligibility date. His previous three-year, $27 million contract began in 2024-25.

Why it matters: Dallas gains continuity on the wing entering the 2026-27 season. The extension takes a potential 2027 unrestricted free agent off the market.

By the numbers: Marshall averaged 15.2 points per game in 2025-26 and was due $9.43 million in 2026-27 under his prior deal.

What to watch: Training camp will show how Dallas deploys Marshall after his 15.2-point season.
