What happened: Max Strus is nearly two weeks into his four-week recovery timetable and has resumed on-court shooting work, per Law Murray. The wing has been sidelined since suffering a partial plantar fascia tear in his right foot five minutes into the Oct. 4 preseason opener.

Why it matters: Acquired in an August three-team deal with the Cavaliers, Strus is working toward his regular-season debut with the Clippers. Remaining on schedule keeps him on track for a formal medical reevaluation in early November.

What to watch: Strus faces an official reevaluation roughly two weeks from now to determine his availability for early regular-season play.
