What happened: Tyrese Maxey accounted for Philadelphia's first six points against New York. The game is the middle matchup of the league's three-game opening-day slate on NBC and Peacock.

Why it matters: Philadelphia is opening the 2026-27 slate with a reshaped group. A national NBC window makes the Knicks matchup an early measure of that reset.

What to watch: The 76ers and Knicks play through the remainder of the opening-night window. The Thunder and Spurs close the tripleheader at 9:30 p.m. ET.
