What happened: CJ McCollum, Dyson Daniels, Lu Dort, Jalen Johnson, and Onyeka Okongwu will start tonight's preseason matchup in Indianapolis. The lineup pairs McCollum with Daniels in the backcourt.

Why it matters: The exhibition provides the starting unit with extended playing time together ahead of the 2026-27 regular season. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Dorian Finney-Smith were ruled out earlier for rest.

What to watch: Minutes will be closely managed as the team finalizes its regular-season rotation.
