What happened: On the final lap of the wet 20-lap Singapore sprint, Lando Norris attempted an inside pass on teammate Oscar Piastri at Turn 5. Norris could not complete the move and struck Piastri's right-rear corner, spinning both cars. The collision forced Piastri to retire with severe damage, while Norris recovered to finish eighth.

Why it matters: The incident prompted an internal reprimand from McLaren after costing the team valuable points in the constructors' championship. Management termed the clash 'simply not acceptable' and summoned the drivers for internal discussions.

What to watch: The drivers faced a stewards' summons following the incident, though no further penalties were applied. The team will look to recover ground in Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix.
