What happened: Kyle Pitts finished second at 82.4, followed by Mason Taylor at 81.6. Nate Boerkircher placed fourth at 78.8, with Tommy Tremble fifth at 75.8.

Why it matters: Mayer signed a three-year extension in September after posting 328 yards in 2025. Pitts signed a three-year, $54M deal in June, tying early production to new money.

By the numbers: Week 6 grades: Mayer 89.2; Pitts 82.4; Taylor 81.6; Boerkircher 78.8; Tremble 75.8. 2025 totals: Taylor 44 catches for 369 yards; Mayer 35 for 328 yards; Tremble 27 for 249 yards.

What to watch: Week 7 usage will test whether Mayer separates again at the position. Taylor and Boerkircher draw the consistency check among young tight ends.
