What happened: Terrill signed an exclusive multi-fight agreement with BKB in May, returning to the promotion where he previously held heavyweight gold. Sokolowski enters the matchup with a 3-1 BKB record.

Why it matters: The booking gives Terrill a main event in his home region against a fellow heavyweight. It also extends his return to BKB after winning 10 of his first 12 bare-knuckle bouts by knockout.

By the numbers: Terrill: 10-2 with 10 knockouts when he signed with BKB in May. Sokolowski: 3-1 in BKB competition.

What to watch: BKB's venue announcement and remaining card rollout are next ahead of Oct. 10.
