What happened: Mike Brown said the staff is prioritizing the center spot. The evaluation is playing out with extra bigs brought into training camp.

Why it matters: Depth at center shapes the rotation entering the 2026-27 season. Open camp competition gives fringe bigs a direct path to stick.

What to watch: Watch preseason minutes and cuts to see which big earns backup minutes.
