What happened: Mikel Brown Jr., who previously hit a deep three for his first preseason bucket, converted another long-distance three-pointer early in the possession.

Why it matters: Pulling up from well beyond the three-point arc forces opposing perimeter defenders to extend their coverage higher up the floor.

What to watch: Deep shooting range remains a featured part of Brown's perimeter game as the 2026-27 regular season continues.
