What happened: The Minnesota Lynx will face the Golden State Valkyries tonight on USA Network to close out a Wednesday WNBA doubleheader. Minnesota brings significant momentum into the contest, carrying a four-game streak. The matchup pits two of the league's top teams against each other in a nationally televised spot.

Why it matters: At 31-7, the Lynx are looking to maintain their dominant regular-season form against a formidable opponent. Golden State holds a 25-10 record and is riding a six-game streak of its own, setting up a high-stakes clash. A positive result would further solidify Minnesota's strong positioning ahead of the postseason push.

By the numbers: Minnesota holds a 2-0 head-to-head advantage over Golden State this season, including an 81-75 decision on June 19. The Lynx feature a high-powered offense averaging 92.8 points per game, which will be challenged by a Valkyries defense allowing just 77.1 points per contest.

What to watch: Tipoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET as the Lynx aim to extend their current streak.
