Great news for the Brewers: Jacob Misiorowski is likely to return to the starting rotation during the July 20-22 serie Via @jonmorosi on X

What happened: Jacob Misiorowski is likely to return to the Brewers' starting rotation during the July 20-22 series against the Mets, Jon Morosi reported. Morosi said he will detail the move on MLB Network's first #MLBCentral of the second half, airing at 10 a.m. ET.

Why it matters: Milwaukee opens the second half on a three-game losing streak despite holding a 55-34 record, and getting Misiorowski back adds rotation depth heading into that stretch. The move follows the same second-half workload plan Morosi previewed for Misiorowski earlier in the day.

By the numbers: Brewers are 55-34 this season, scoring 5.0 runs and allowing 3.9 per game, though they've dropped their last three.

What to watch: Misiorowski's next scheduled start would fall within the July 20-22 series at the Mets; Morosi is expected to add details during MLB Network's #MLBCentral broadcast.
