MLS has suspended Inter Miami interim head coach Guillermo Hoyos one game for repeatedly violating the league's late kic Via @tombogert on X
What happened: The policy requires clubs to be on the field and ready for the scheduled start of both halves. Hoyos will serve the suspension during Saturday's home match.
Why it matters: The absence removes Inter Miami's head coach from the touchline during a playoff-positioning push. The club enters the weekend second in the Eastern Conference, 10 points off the lead.
By the numbers: Inter Miami is 11-4-6 with 39 points through 21 matches. The club has scored 49 goals and conceded 40 for a plus-nine differential.
What to watch: Miami's kickoff and halftime return times will be under scrutiny Saturday.
