What happened: Todd Monken addressed what Deshaun Watson needs to do to win over Cleveland Browns fans after Cleveland's 27-24 final over Pittsburgh. The comment kept Watson's relationship with the crowd in the middle of the Browns' conversation coming out of the win.

Why it matters: Public support around Watson remains a meaningful subplot for Cleveland even after a victory. It also extends Monken's recent public backing of Watson, keeping the quarterback at the center of the Browns' week-to-week story.

What to watch: What comes next is whether Watson's play changes the tone around him as Cleveland moves on from the 27-24 result. Any follow-up from Monken or Watson will draw attention quickly.
