What happened: Prime Video's NBA package opens Friday, Oct. 23 with New York at Boston at 6:30 p.m. ET and Houston at San Antonio at 9:30 p.m. ET. The two-game slate gives the streamer its first opening-night doubleheader of the 2026-27 rollout.

Why it matters: Boston gets the early window after breaking up its long-running core before camp, while New York has spent the week reworking its back-end roster. Houston-San Antonio gives the late slot two Western Conference clubs opening the new season on a national platform.

What to watch: More of Prime's regular-season package should come into focus as opening week approaches. Camp cuts and rotation decisions in all four markets will shape the first look once the broadcasts arrive.
