What happened: The NFL barred Jeff Seeman for two games and Adrian Hill for one game without pay. The penalties followed separate player confrontations in Week 4.

Why it matters: Discipline of two officials in the same week is rare and sharpens focus on conduct standards for crews. The absences test officiating depth during the 2026 regular season.

What to watch: Week 5 assignments will reveal the fill-in officials.
