What happened: The whistle wiped out a dunk attempt that struck Noah Penda before bouncing back through the cylinder. Officials ruled the contact basket interference.

Why it matters: Self-interference on a dunk is a rare whistle, which explains the quick attention. The sequence stands as an early preseason curiosity rather than a form concern.

What to watch: Preseason continues ahead of the 2026-27 regular season.
