What happened: Ryan Nembhard is expected to draw multiple two-way suitors if Charlotte waives him, per TheSteinLine, with Denver prime among them. He posted 28 points and 10 assists in Denver as a rookie and closed with a 23-assist game against Chicago.

Why it matters: Denver faces an offseason sorting backcourt depth for the 2026-27 season, where two-way slots carry rotation insurance. Nembhard's two high-usage passing games give rival scouts concrete recent production to weigh against camp invites.

What to watch: Watch whether Charlotte finalizes the waiver and whether Denver converts its interest into a two-way offer.
