What happened: Shohei Ohtani homered leading off for Los Angeles in Game 4. Los Angeles entered trailing the series 3-0. Andy Pages drove in the Dodgers' first run.

Why it matters: The homer provided early offense with elimination on the line. Power had stalled since his 30th home run in August amid a .212 league playoff average. Extending the series would force a Game 5 and reset the Dodgers' order.

What to watch: Los Angeles needs three more wins to take the series. The focus shifts to Ohtani's timing in his next at-bats and the Game 5 starter decision.
