What happened: Edmonton is promoting a charity draw tied to tonight, with a grand prize and early-bird prizes that include Oilers tickets in Toronto, a suite experience, Rogers credit and an iPhone Pro. The proceeds go to Every Kid Deserves a Shot.

Why it matters: The promotion gives Edmonton an added off-ice hook on a one-off homestand before the club heads out on a Pacific Division road trip. It also turns game-day attention toward a named community fundraiser rather than a standard ticket giveaway.

What to watch: Watch for the early-bird draws and the grand-prize result later tonight. Edmonton then shifts its focus to the upcoming Pacific Division road trip.
