What happened: Coach Eric Morris confirmed Tuesday that Sexton sustained a lower-leg injury on the opening offensive series of the Week 1 loss to Tulsa. Desmond Magiya replaced him for the remainder of the game. [The Oklahoman](https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/jacob-sexton-injury-oklahoma-state-162902383.html)

Why it matters: The injury removes the lineman Morris described as his best since taking over the program. The replacement faces an immediate pass-protection test against Oregon on Saturday.

What to watch: Watch whether Magiya or sophomore Shaun Torgeson takes the first snap at left tackle and whether both rotate against the Ducks.
